Birthed of out a love for lo-fi 60s garage, psych-pop, and 80s-2000s indie pop, The Specific Heats formed in Boston in 2004.

The arrival of Keira Flynn on drums mid-2005 coincided with a move to Brooklyn, ushering in a new era.

Over time, their sound melded more with garage and surf influences. The gang disbanded in 2011, but we just couldn't stay away forever...
